Ms. Nordgren represents a broad range of clients, including companies doing business with the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) (formerly the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC)), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Green Climate Fund, NEFCO, and other international and development finance institutions; as well as lenders, private equity funds, microfinance institutions, financial services companies, non-governmental organizations, and non-profit entities. Ms. Nordgren has advised clients on over 125 transactions, and has closed over 100 transactions involving DFC loans, guaranties and political risk insurance, enabling her clients to invest over $10 billion of capital across more than 60 emerging market countries.
Ms. Nordgren helps her clients build a solid foundation for finance and investment decisions through comprehensive legal analysis, due diligence, and advice on legal risks and solutions. She supports her clients’ objectives by providing high-quality, cost-effective legal advice, by working closely with financial advisors, business and legal teams; and by managing local counsel.
